Even though it is not legally mandatory to have a Dutch resident director, in order to comply with the Dutch tax substance requirements and duly qualify as a Dutch taxpayer, any Dutch company should have (among other requirements) at least 50% of its board consist of Dutch residents - both individuals and legal entities can be directors in a Dutch company. The Dutch resident directors must be actively involved in all decision-making and financial transactions of the company.
As a licensed trust office, DTM provides Dutch resident director(s) and a Dutch legal address for legal entities and structures. We operate in close cooperation with the client and ensure compliance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Netherlands.
